Women in Construction Matchmaking Event: June 27, 10-12PM
New Visions, New Ventures is hosting our first ever Women in Construction Workshop. This event will give business owners an opportunity to meet with construction industry specialists and various business development advisors, and representatives from local general contractors in one location. The agenda for the meeting will include Matchmaking sessions with local General Contractors, the Department of Minority Business Enterprise, Crater Procurement Assistance Center and Virginia Community College System. This free event will take place June 27, from 9am - 12pm. Registration is mandatory. Please register by emailing wbc@nvnv.org with you name, contact information, and the name of the class.

Financial Freedom: Monday evenings for six weeks, Sep. 8 through Oct. 10, 6-9PM
This 6-session class enables you to explore your personal and business goals as they directly relate to your finances.  Session topics include money management, banking basics, credit/credit repair, debt reduction, bankruptcy, insurance, investments and home ownership.  Classes are held at the Downtown YMCA.  Free childcare is available.
